Just before 12 noon on Friday July 3 2010 units from the Fourth Battalion were dispatched to 1129 Allison St NW in the Petworth Section of the city for a reported house fire.

First arriving units reported smoke showing from a two-story rowhouse with a report of fire in the basement area.

Firefighters enter the dwelling and located the fire and with a very quick attack they were able to bring the fire under control within 10 minutes with no extension to the upper floors.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation
